Our Facilitators:
Noel Taylor has practiced & taught Oriental Bodywork since 1985. She is completed the Doctoral Program at the International Institute of Medical Qi Gong. Noel was a senior teacher with the Jin Shin Do® Foundation for 30 years & with the American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia. Her work brings together her long term interests in spirituality, oriental medicine, quantum physics, social justice, community building & body mind integration techniques. Noel served as a faculty member at the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for 14 years. She maintains a private practice in Victoria & on Lasqueti Island.
In this 3 hour program the theme will be alignment of Body, Mind and Spirit using Medical Qigong Dao Yin practices. Noel will introduce the Tibetan Buddhist form of the Eight Silken Movements that activate and regulate the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. This practice is more aptly referred to as Shengong.
You will also learn a technique of releasing old emotional stagnation and wounds called Open the Door, Remove the Thief.
Julie is a Certified Yoga & Meditation Instructor, Ayurveda Head Practitioner, Sound Journey Guide, and Circle Facilitator.
With a deep commitment to holistic healing and empowerment, she brings a compassionate, inclusive presence to all that she offers. Her work is rooted in both ancient healing traditions and modern wellness practices, weaving together mindful movement, conscious breathwork, sound therapy, guided meditation, and personalized rituals. Julie specializes in trauma and anxiety informed care, creating safe and nurturing spaces that support emotional and physical well-being. Julie’s offerings invite individuals to reconnect with their bodies, quiet the mind, and move toward their own health and wellness goals—at their own pace and with intention.
She is passionate about cultivating a sense of belonging, healing, and inner peace, and is known for her ability to hold deeply enriching and connected classes and gatherings where others feel truly seen, supported, and empowered.
