In addition to upholding stringent standards of practice within our industry, our aim is to elevate the public perception of hypnotherapy to a place of higher esteem. We want hypnotherapy to be a go-to therapy when someone is struggling with an issue or a doctor seeks to recommend complementary therapy to support a patient’s healing.

The Canadian Association of Counselling Hypnotherapists and Educators recognizes that there are a wide variety of hypnotherapy training programs offered today. Applicants can become credentialed by CACHE through successful completion of training and examination by a CACHE-approved school or by challenging a program by providing proof of training and successful examination to the appropriate level of credential.

In other words, if you did not attend a CACHE-approved school you are welcome provide us with documentation (written and/or video) showing how you meet the training requirements as detailed in our Standards of Practice for each level of credential.
